Re: Problems with Ubuntu.

 

@Barry: I have detailed the stupid users we will be looking at. WINE is not
an option. Nor are it's frontends. PlayOnLinux is good, but this is not an
application that performs 100%. Any stuff it installs probably has some
problems.

If it does not work 100%, we cannot use it and must not until it does. Your
being geeky about this, when really we need to look at people to whom
computers are not important in comparison with, say, their hair style. If it
does not work NOW, PERFECTLY. Then it has no place in their lives.

@Alan C: We may be
1. Very lucky with supplies and equipment.
2. Having to get our hands on hundreds of thousand of dollars just to get
off the ground.

Acting 'quickly' is not an option.
