Ah, that is very cool. I have a PowerTap and have endured Saris'
Java-based PowerAgent itself for the past year. I did look at GC last
year but couldn't live without the personal records and the graphical
display (which isn't even that good) in PowerAgent -- should I give it
another try?

Do you know what sort of power measuring technique will they be using?

I've been using Linux since 1997 or so, and have been working at
Canonical (on Launchpad) since 2004. I own about 9 bikes. I've been
riding mountain bikes for about 10 years too, and I've raced on the road
a few times; the latest one at the Jeantex Tour TransAlp this year:

I should go to Montreal in the near future and will look forward to
having a riding partner in the area; on that note, Francis Lacoste, who
runs Launchpad Foundations, his dad is an avid cyclist and is also lives
in Montreal. Apparently he enjoys running younger riders off his wheel!
