This looks cool. I've been thinking about getting an inexpensive bike
computer; anyone have any recommendations?

My intro...

I'm Pete, from Minneapolis MN. I ride a Marin Larkspur street/road hybrid[1]
named Gullinbursti, after the boar ridden by the Norse god Freyr[2]. It's my
grocery getter/work wagon/road warrior and general all-purpose hell-raiser.
It's a great bike.

On the tech side, I've been a Linux user since 2003, presently using Kubuntu
8.04/KDE 4.1 on my HP Pentium D desktop, Ubuntu 8.04 with Gnome and Fluxbox on
my Lenovo Core Duo laptop, and Ubuntu Server 7.10 on my NFS file server
(although next time you ask, that might be running Slackware 12). I make a
living selling and supporting Ubuntu desktops and laptops in the Minneapolis
area.

Back to biking, I'm looking forward to a trip to Michigan this fall, and
possibly a longer trip next spring. I've never toured before, and if anyone
had any resources they could point me at, I'd be most grateful.

ride on-
pete
