    I much prefer what we do with day to day metrics then what PowerAgent offers.. Where we are having issues is in handling longer term metrics. Which is to say, metrics over a season, a month.. etc. We treat each ride with a file. That file has a data point every second or so. Given that we treat all rides as a single file, it makes grouping rides together difficult. Some long debates have ensued regarding using a database or not.. etc..

   But give it try. And if you don't like it, we are always looking for programmers! ;-)

   Strain gauges.. I think in the FAQ it explains in more detail (ie better then I can).
