Hi,

I am also having issues with wireless on the latest release. Followed the suggestions on here: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu-eee/+question/39019 and here:
http://forum.eeeuser.com/viewtopic.php?id=34427 but still no luck. The driver seems to install properly but I just cannot see any wireless networks. And I know this worked before on Xubuntu Gutsy with the madwifi drivers. I have the 2G Surf. 

Has ANYONE gotten wireless working perfectly on the 700 range at all.
Please help!!
