[Question #47144]: AT modem commands editing?

hello,
i have following probelm with my mobilephone as modem:
--> Sending: ATM1L3DT*99#
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATM1L3DT*99#
ERROR
--> Invalid dial command.
i know that the AT-command ATM1L3DT is wrong. i need the command ATDT*99#. how can i edit the AT commands?
i use ubuntu eee 8.04 with gnome-ppp.
as i used xandros it was running good (internet and cellphone)
