[Bug 546289] Re: (Inconsistent) use of apt-get and aptitude

In the ubuntu-fr team, we still recommand NOT to mix aptitude and apt-
get, as it uses separate database. And, as Synaptic uses apt-get
database, we recommand to use either [apt-get + Synaptic], either
[aptitude only].

As beginners usually use graphical interface (Synaptic / Software center), and as the Manual is focused on Ubuntu Gnome only, I suggest we use the following priority:
- advise Software Center when the package is available in this interface
- if the package is not available in Software Center, advise Synaptic
- if we want to advise a command line, advise apt-get

Status in Ubuntu Manual: Confirmed

Bug description:
On page 143, the method of package management 'apt-get' is used, while the package management section starting from page 127 is using aptitude.

There was a discussion in the wiki team which to use and they came to the rule: use apt-get. It would be a very strange move for the manual to use aptitude instead.

I know this is a controversial subject, but I think that for the sake of consistency between manual and wiki, the manual must use apt-get.
