This doesn't have to be the case for additions, corrections of spelling
and grammar or even style.
Not with our current tools, obviously.
In principal, language editions of the manual only have to be based on
the same outline. Translations actually suffer, if they are too close to
the original (can lead to odd phrases you wouldn't find in a "native"
text).
