Re: Preparing for 12.10 series
Hi Kevin, et al.
I think the idea of Screenshot Editors (or at least people who are
solely responsible for getting screenshots for the manuals) is a great
idea. First off, it will ensure that we have consistent screenshots
throughout. And secondly, it will reduce some of the workload on the
authors/editors. And, if/when we get more languages available for
translation, we can have a person from each language who's responsible
for getting the screenshots in their language.
Also, adding the position to the website won't be an issue. Essentially
it's just a rewording of the Author's page (or the Editor's page),
specifying screenshots, and a separate button for the link.
Just wanted to toss my .02 worth in on this.
