I'm not sure why my messages never seem to make it into the mailing list
when I try to respond. I've been following these threads and trying to
respond in each one.

If you could let people know that I'm available for technical questions on
how things work or the intent behind specific features, and that I'll
respond to them directly, I'd appreciate it.

I still don't have time to rewrite or update the client (which I recall
having some technical compromises due to Quickly), but I'm continuing to
run the server component and could help someone else get another instance
of it online. (The server has no dependencies that would prevent it from
running on any more recent distribution)
