I think we should start adding things like this to our Knowledge Base.
It'd be great if some time in the future people could just check out our
page, head to the knowledge base and according to what they're doing,
they'll find a nice document telling them which packages to install and
what to do.

If we need a meta package at some stage, I can not say yet. :-)

Did you check if there's a bug open about that in the civicrm tracker?
