which should currently being imported into the vivid-proposed channel on
system-image.ubuntu.com ... i cant promise yet that these images will
boot, but in theory they should not be a lot different from the final
utopic ones (there are a few new systemd bits but these should still not
be in use until there is an active switch from upstart to systemd.

in case nobody does this tonight, i will test the images tomorrow first
thing in the morning on mako and report back about the bootability (and
fix potential blocking issues).
