As I said, I'm aware that these numbers aren't going to agree. But right now, /home is using seven times the space that the files themselves take up. If a filesystem needs six times as much space for its inodes, journal, and root blocks as it does for actual content, I feel that something is wrong.
"stable" is the recommended channel to use now.
Thanks, I'll create an emulator off that channel and see if it has the same problem.

Perhaps this page [1] should be updated, as it still recommends devel to "Track the latest development".
Related to this subject: stable doesn't include images for flo. Which channel should I be tracking on a Nexus 7?
