debug collection is on by default, where would you put that message
beyond the welcome wizard (where it has a full screen page telling you
about it and how to disable it if you want to do that later) ?
we used to have crashes being collected before OTA4 and they didn't seem
to affect the UI as fatal as what is happening now (there was never a
hard freeze, the device was usable, just reacting slower)
the point here is that we still don't know what exactly is happening,
the bug collection was an assumption but could as well just be fallout
of a unity8 bug or a Qt issue or whatever. plastering the system with
messages or turning off something that used to work reasonably well
before isn't the solution, finding the actual cause and fixing it
is ... ;)
