It's very odd, that I read this on the very day I acquire a BQ phone
myself.
Personally I have been avoiding the BQ due to the way it looks. It's
not as expensive looking as the Mezui MX4.
I've found as a rule the more expensive the phone, the more fragile.
This is why iphones virtually come pre-smashed from the shop. The BQ
to me looks like one of those phones and the crack in my screen shows
that it just about qualifies. However it's without a doubt much more
sturdy than the phones it is trying to ape.
Sadly, it's a matter of statistics.
On the day op sent that email, I broke my BQ second time;
08/15 BQ4.5 purchased.
10/15 Fell on cement, cracked line in middle of screen - lower part not
responding. BQ repair sevice = 100 euro, good service.
1/16 Fell lightly (on cement) and chipped the top right side (image
attached).
Strange thing, it also killed the touch functions of only the _lower_
part of the screen.
From my experience with phones (and i broke a few), usually such a dent
doesn't disturb touch on the other side of the phone.
Still, statistics, and Murphy....
At this point, I would recommend a cover:
