I think it was mentioned before that it is planned to have some kind of a cloud service integrated on the phone. This means you can sync files to any cloud service you like. Not sure though if there's already work done for that and if we'll see it soon.

Frustrating, isn't it? The combination of app confinement and lifecycle management means you can only sync directories your confined app can see, when the screen is on and the app is in the foreground.
