Andrew, the point is not whether there is a work-around. It don’t need a stop-gap, in the sense that I use the phone only for testing. The point is that an ordinary user gets to see Fahrenheit in the Today scope when they want Celsius. There is no obvious way to address the problem because the places the user would look (the settings in the Today scope, settings in the weather scope, and the settings app) don’t allow the units to be changed.
The ordinary average user will walk away and go “this phone is no good, it can only show me temperatures in the wrong units”.
