and there was a bit of a response from some folk closer to it, but no
actual answers other than it was an intentional change. There is a bug for
the colour change documentation here

I also noticed that on the phone the HTML5 ui toolkit uses #dd4814 still so
QML apps use one orange, HTML5 apps use another.

Personally I am not bothered which colour it is, as long as things match!
