Dear Felipe,
You probably wanted to say "Dear Francisco".
I'm ok with my Ubuntu phone. I was just curious about the statement
saying that the Nexus 4 is not considered convergent and wanted
confirmation. I haven't had time and peripherals to try my Nexus 4 in
convergent mode.
I bought a Meizu MX4 one year ago, when the Ubuntu Touch project
was more younger than now, what I understood in this period is
that the developers have done all they can to improve the system
at every release, but this is a low budget project (I think), not
like Android on Google Nexus phone, so you need patience.
MX4 it's a native Ubuntu Touch phone, I bought it for 299 Euro
(it's not a cheaper phone), but it don't have convergence function
right now, because it run an old android driver version. In these
months Meizu released a new 5.0 android for Meizu MX4 (android
version), I hope in the next future the developers can release the
aethercast feature for MX4 too.
I understand your disapointment, but we need patience and say
thank you for who make this real every day.
Cheers,
Marco

Anyway, I'm curious as to why the Nexus 4 is not
considered a convergent
device... is it confirmed? It has support for wired
external
display... so
why not?
Best Regards,
Felipe.
I think the Nexus 4 is a devices on which ubuntu engineers
develop UT and
is not a commercial Ubuntu phone.
It supports convergence but not wireless because of
android version.

Buy the e4.5 and was left without a aethercast.
Buy after the nexus 4 and there is not
libertine apps, that i say you to
that?
Sorry if i offended anyone,really.
Seems that your expectations was never promised.
No one said
that bq E4.5,
E5 and MX4 will be converged devices.
Ubuntu Touch progresses slowly but there are some
rough edges and before
buying devices with UT you should have taken them
into account.
