Dear David;
ISO code for Dari Persian language recorded in ISO639-3 is "prs" .
I think prs would be better as there is also lots of refrences in the Internet.

Because open source is barely new in Afghanistan, I think we are one
of the first teams which trying to start it for Ubuntu:

About collaborating with Persian team:
At the first I was trying to do so, but when the team members
increased, I found that Persian is some how misunderstandable for some
of people, I dont know why (maybe cause they are trying to dont use
any other words out of their vocabulaty) so I decided to start a Dari
Persian translation team.
