exactly the standalone logo/roundel that is now on boot screen, wall papers etc is perfectly ok, they have no say in that.

The full logo with the wordmark, will probably be ok, but we could hold off on publicising that too much before approval.

I think the real issue was using the roundel by itself, in which case they were worried that it lost the connection to Ubuntu and hence our
social media pages in particular may have been falsely representing us as being an actual GNOME project.

So really now it comes down to if they are ok with our new roundel, attached to the GNOME wordmark. I don't believe they have an issue with the
actual name of the distro, since we did get approval for that from both GNOME and Canonical.
