F10 just opens the volume control for me.  I may have changed a
setting.

Either way, the focus follows mouse bugs are about to make me
turn off unity.

The one that's really a problem is that I can't edit filenames on
the desktop.

I already turned off the global menu, so that's not bugging me
anymore.
