Re: Proposal: make menus more accessible with shift+F10 for mouse pointer teleport.

That works well. It's fairly intuitive and can be easily completed using 1 hand. Perhaps a little awkward for left handed people? Ctrl + ` for left handed people?

I think using two F-keys for this at the same time, would not be wise. I do agree that it would be better if you could use it with one hand, though. But perhaps we could double-tap F10 to teleport the mouse? Teleporting back would be done by activating an item, clicking outside the menus or hitting Esc. Tapping
F10 once would have the same effect as tapping Esc.

Is there any reason why we can't use double-taps on the keyboard? It seems to
have worked well on the mouse.
It's worth noting that an increasing number of vendors are shipping laptops that
require the Fn key to be depressed in order to hit the F-number keys.

Examples include Dell and Lenovo, at least with the Thinkpad Edge line. This
makes it rather hard to use F10 with one hand.

Ok, then how about using shift Menu-key instead of F10 and shift+menuX2 to teleport?
