as there is a job to restore the [undo] item to the menu, can I suggest that
instead, we just remove the single line that disables/undefines the standard
emacs edit menu? This will give us back the standard emacs undo, plus add
cut/paste, search, etc. Seems this would be more useful to manu users than
just a single operation and would likely fit in with what they are
accustomed to.
