After running all day on Lucid, I booted from a Windows partition where I've
fangui installed.  (On windows the fan is more active/noisy).

The Winxp fangui indicated GPU temp of 75 degrees, which seems hot, but that
hadn't changed after 1 hr under windows either.

Fangui for linux is no longer maintained I believe, how are you measuring
temp?
