It will not, but I do sometimes. It could be automatized somehow I
think, latest 0.50 packages generate the sphinx documentation and put it
in the yade-doc package.

Agreed. For those who want to adjust that in the future, the titlepage
is in doc/sphinx/templates/index.html (it is a HTML template).
