I have news ...  :-)

My problems with inserting spheres during a simulation are apparently 
specific to interface using. I started a computation from a Konsole, and 
by saving .xml files during the simulation I saw that everything was ok, 
with normal coordinates, mass and velocity ... for the new sphere. 
Moreover, if I load one of these .xml files after creation, I can 
compute it from yade interface.

Have you an idea ?

Otherwise I could try to compute without graphic display ... even if 
sometimes its really useful.
