I'll second this opinion, the use of simple text files is a major reason I use Zim. It may be possible to add "page sections" like this by including some syntax in the file name such as awesome_project_(roadmap).txt though.

This feature suggestion seems to duplicate a lot of the functionality we already have with subpages; perhaps a better solution would be to edit several pages at once in tabs like most text editors, though even that is mostly handled by the recent pages list already. (Pinnable pages in that list, perhaps?)

I'm assuming that Mario's request is about grouping pages, but the other possible interpretation is that Zim lacks a way to identify particular sections of a page. In this case perhaps section links would be appropriate in the same way that HTML can link to a specific div with a #. The earlier example would become [[Awesome Project#Roadmap|Awesome Roadmap]] in Zim markup, which would navigate to the Roadmap header in the page.
