Re: [Question #187391]: Querying data from '/request' is slow on lightly loaded system
Question #187391 on Graphite changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/graphite/+question/187391
Julian Wilde posted a new comment:
I switched off data collection (so brought load down to 0) and response
times remained the same.
Looks like the webUI is the bottleneck, so I imagine there should be
plenty of easy wins in there in terms of optimization.
Other than whipser-fetch, is there any way to query data from disk &
carbon-cache that doesn't involve using the webUI?
Any tips on how I could get started profiling the webapp? I've never
used Python/Django so any pointers would be welcome. Perhaps there are
some debug flags in the app which could help me gather some data?
