[Bug 1295998] [NEW] linux-generic (and dependencies) is not automatically installed

 

Public bug reported:

I installed 2 machine with Trusty.

Athlon X2 64:
Installation on a different partition than 13.10, no linux-generic package

Phenom II X4:
Through installation i formated all partitions, no linux-generic package.

My Notebook with 32 bit Edubuntu has it installed.
