[Bug 1387144] [NEW] why does linux-image-generic depend on thermald

Public bug reported:

i've just upgraded to 14.10, and i see that linux-image-generic now
lists thermald as a dependency. is this really a genuine requirement
now, that without which a computer cannot be used?

can this be listed as a recommended or suggested dependency instead, so
that it is not forced to be installed on computers which have no use for
it?

** Affects: linux-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
