Re: Lubunto - bug report - USB 3g mobile broadband detection

Apparently, the only solution to this problem is to find out who cause the bug.
If the bug also happens in ubuntu, it should be fixed in ubuntu and
this has no relationship with lubutu or lxde.
If the bug happens in Lubuntu only, it's a lubuntu bug.
If the bug also happens in distros other than Ubuntu, then apparently
this is a network manager bug and it should be fixed in upstream, not
the distros. Then you should bug report to network manager developers
instead.

Bug report to the right person is the key to get it fixed.
Personally since I have no 3g card, I'm not able to help the testing,
but testing this in ubuntu and fedora can immediately show the source
of the problem. I encourage you to do so. Network manager is not
developed by us and we have no 3g devices for testing. So we're not
going to fix this. Personally I believe that this is not a Lubuntu
specific bug. I bet this also happen in Ubuntu. You can try it. If it
also happens in ubuntu, bug report to ubuntu developers is the best
way to get it fixed.
