Public bug reported:

Adding forum entries to threads seems to be taking a long time to commit
and is just hanging (does not load to show the newly added forum entry
in situ). The entries are still successfully posting, a browser refresh
confirms this and the notification emails go out but the page itself is
taking over two minutes to load the new comment on its own.

Mahara v1.9.2
Windows 7
