Ok, I have traced back the problem to ErrorDisplay.hide(). If this method is
called before showMessage() has been called the first time, a null msg
object is attempted to be accessed. I have added a check for null and
committed that fix.

I will now test my GameEditView implementation and commit early this
afternoon so that you can comment and I can ask some more specific
questions. I hope to do the DevTeamView in the evening.
