Hi,

It is times like this when the future of webkit should be questioned.
At least the largely unmaintained wkhtmltopdf project and a blocking 5
year old bug.  There is a project -
https://github.com/chrisglass/xhtml2pdf - which is more active, has
better features - especially surrounding pagination, layout and
watermarking - which is webkits weakpoint (and RML's strength), is
largely the same syntax as webkit and can use mako in any case to
render the html output stream for pisa, written in python and truly
opensource.  I'm not advocating one way or the other, merely exploring
alternate ways to the same ultimate solution.
