I do agree with you, the only solution I can imagine should be
to use some "digital esperanto" instead of english. Because
english is so often frenchglish, spanglish, germglish, niponglish,
even en_us ;))

A humble remark: whatever translation you use for "timesheet", you should
remember that it must be /separated/ enough from other similar meanings.
I see this problem all the time with the Greek translation: we find a common
word to translate 'region', but then, that word ends up being the same as the
translation of 'area'. So, we need to have a less common word in both cases,
to make sure the users won't mix the two meanings.
