Re: Joining openshot
Well in terms of packaging that comes with time. First we must make a
full featured good looking program and then the distros will more than
likely package it for us. I know that you can ask a MOTU in ubuntu and
they will put together a package for us. Or just file a needs packaging
bug against ubuntu on launchpad. But we have to be stable before that
happens.
In GTK builder there are a few options in terms of theme integration. It
is similar to Glade anyway its just minor differences.
Have a look at Gnome-Zeitgeist on launchpad. Thats the kind of
integration im talking about.
About the Icons we can make Icons that look like the regular generic
gnome ones. The big blue slider area at the bottom of the screen can be
replaced with sliders like in rhythmbox etc. The defaults.
Integration is top priority if you want openshot to be included in the
different distros.
About ubuntu's change in colour it definitely wont be blue. Too close to
windows and KDE. So id say it would be something different if any change
is made at all.
