Mark,

We have no plans for benchmarks for query processing now, but what we
plan it is to create scripting framework for benchmark so we can easily
 script query scenarios.

We are going to base it on sysbench.

Sysbench was published on Launchpad and Sysbench v5 has included LUA
scripting language, and we already have some simple scripts to test
"web" queries.

I've heard from many customers and storage engine vendors that all of
them badly need "Web benchmark", so we are thinking to script in
sysbench some kind of benchmarks that represents "Web site" load. Your
input is welcome.
