I just uploaded a new version 0.5 which allows you to switch the card through
sysfs without the need of kernel hacking or loading new modules.

Very strange... when did you get the permissions denied? When calling this
line?
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/sony-laptop/snc_wwanpower
