Hi Eva, Hi all

i tested your sony-laptop.c and the stamina mode is fine as far as i can 
see. It should extend battery life considerably, if I understand correctly.
I tried changing the code to switch the nvidia card on, but it didn't 
work and im not a kernel hacker ...
Also i wasnt able to switch on the 3G modem. I got a permission denied 
error, even though i was root.
any idea ?
