Re: New Kernel, 2.6.36-rc3-vaioz

 

Hi Adam,

thank you for the .deb you provided us!
I'm afraid I'm messing up things. I installed the package on my Ubuntu
10.10 on which Grub2 is installed too; the installation created a
menu.lst file for Grub1, with the entries to load the correct kernel
image at boot time. But when I switch on the pc, Grub2 is loaded and
no entry for the newly installed kernel can be found.
What should I do now to load the kernel image I want?

Thank you for your patience, I'm a newbie in this area!
