Hi,

I don't have intel_backlight.
the only entry in /sys/class/backlight/ is just acpi_video0.

By the way:
# find /sys/ -iname backlight
/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:02.0/backlight
/sys/class/backlight

I tried to boot in single user mode, but doing echo 2 >
/sys/class/backlight/acpi_video0/brightness
has no effects.
