Re: Need to Install Ubuntu

So i went ahead and removed the raid, and enabled uefi... then booted to
the ubuntu 12.04 alternate installer, created the same partitions on both
drive: 100 MB FAT32 partition, 124GB, and 3.9 GB then i went to the
software raid.. and created 2 different arrays, one for both of my 124GB
partitions, and another for both of my 3.9GB, then i formated my new raid
248GB partition as ext4 and mounted it in /, and my new 8gb raid partition
as SWAP... Then when i asked me where i wanted to install grub i hit go
back, and pick the option that says skip installing grub... Then i booted
to a regular ubuntu live disc, and install boot-repair, clicked the
automatic fixboot, and that installed the UFI boot =)

When i get how ill try the script to get my media base work... Anything
else i need to do??

Also since im going to using a fair amoount of windows software.. And most
of them work over serial (so i need to use a USB-Serial cable and pass it
to my VM) which Virtualizer should i use? VMWorkstation 9? VBox? KVM?
