Something else I reported a while ago still persists, which is when I click on Apps -> System -> Root Terminal, nothing appears.

Yes, I can get desktop shortcuts to appear as you suggested but on logout/login or reboot they disappear again.

Okay I do now get the Desktop Settings window by running 'jwm-settings-manager --desktop'.


Also, I'm still having to do 'pcmanfm --desktop &disown' to see any desktop shortcuts I created.

Jack,

try running the desktop settings and then uncheck 'Icons on Desktop'

And then check it again.

This *may* help...

not sure, but worth a shot :D
