Ok...
I think the screen shot bug should be fixed.
So to apply the fix
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
then you can run
the settings manager Theme program
Choose Default
Then try Ctrl+Alt+P
It should work (let me know if it doesn't)
