[Question #47766]: Boots into black screen with flashing underscore

I have a 2GB SD card in a card reader and when I try to boot from it using either a card reader (the computer would recognize it as a flash drive) or in the SD slot in the computer, it just shows a black screen with a flashing white underscore in the upper left.  Any ideas?
