Well said.
Of all the things I was surprised to see abandoned, U1 was the most
surprising.
That said, Owncloud is pretty killer and so good now that it would seem
to make sense for developers to simply power out a bunch of owncloud
apps and then perhaps canonical can just make a big ol' secure owncloud
server or something.... or make it super easy to deploy one for a user
using juju or something.
The problem with me is I know pieces of all these cool things and not
enough about one
