Re: Release party?

Unfortunately, I lost track about the reasons to party about the releases.

It was nice to party about the stuff that has been done, when I still did things for each
Ubuntu release. However, since for some time now Ubuntu does not scratch my itch anymore,
and according to Jono that would have been the reason to contribute, it is becoming
more and more difficult to get into a party mood.

Maybe we should rethink the whole direction and focus more on the totality of Linux
distros again. I know that is what KWLUG is somewhat for, but they have more
drifted up to apps, which is totally great. I am missing more a place to exchange
experiences of different Linux distros.

Just a thought.. and maybe y'all have some reasons for me, why I could
get into party mood again :-)
