no need to be torn Conscious, indicate status (logged in identity) on the
right somehow integrated with messaging, control start/stop session on the
left..

hurts.. i stopped coding JavaScript after a few weeks of experimenting with
cheap rollovers about a decade ago.. It's so much more worth learning with
GNOME Shell coming at us like this!
