can it restore cookies, https sessions and all?

I think the problem here is that the app doesn't know, which one of its
limbs needs to be restarted, so it restarts the whole suite instead and
restarting the entire suite means interrupting all live sessions and
chopping User Experience into pieces..

Just sayin.
